Although pre-orders are available through this link, the game will officially launch later this month. “Luck” premieres worldwide on August 5 on Apple TV+.

“To say that we publish the tabletop game Chance with one of the best animation studios in the world is simply breathtaking – it’s a first for Breaking Games,” said Shari Spiro, CEO and Founder of Breaking Games. “We worked closely with the team at Skydance Animation to bring beloved characters from the film to life by extending the TV screen experience directly into your hands with our game.”

“We are thrilled to work with Breaking Games to develop Chance the game,” said Luis Fernández, Head of Consumer Products, Skydance. “We can’t wait to see it in the hands of fans across the country in July as another way to immerse themselves in the stunning world of Luck.”

The game Chance is based on the movie, using the same characters Sam, Bob, The Dragon, The Captain, Jeff the Unicorn and Gerry the Leprechaun. Sailing through the Land of Luck, this beautifully illustrated game combines strategy, bidding and – of course – Luck to claim spaces using cards that are auctioned off one at a time, with the ultimate goal of claiming four spaces in in a row. Bid against your friends to see if your luck pays off!

The movie “Luck” centers on the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. When she discovers the new land of luck, Sam must unite with the magical creatures there to turn the tide. The star-studded cast includes Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, John Ratzenberger and many more.

The Chance is a family game for ages eight and up and will be available from July 7, 2022 on and Amazon for $20.

Breaking Games works with Fabacus and their proprietary technology, which is intended to enhance the audience’s experience of licensed consumer products, providing Skydance Animation and Breaking Games the ability to interact with consumers on a one-to-one basis through QR codes found on the Chance game, unlocking a host of rewards and experiences.

Consumers will have the opportunity to redeem “Luck” offers, such as exclusive digital artwork, phone wallpapers and exclusive offers on “Luck” products.

Additionally, attendees at this year’s GenCon in Indianapolis can see the Chance game in action, along with other Breaking Games titles, when visiting the Breaking Games booth (2329).
