First Look As ITV Confirms Cast Of Skins-Style Teen Drama

ITV has announced the cast of a new teen drama that is sure to remind many Skins.

Digital spy can exclusively unveil the first glimpse of a cast of newcomers at the helm of ITV2 Tell me everything, from the same commissioners, Robert Wulff-Cochrane and Camilla Campbell, who commissioned Skins at the time.

Channel 4 drama makes stars of the future X Men actor Nicholas Hoult, Oscar nominees Dev Patel and Daniel Kaluuya, and Pirates of the Caribbean favorite Kaya Scodelario – and now Tell me everything could provide a launching pad for a new generation.

Here’s how ITV describes the new series: “Bursting with heart, laughter, pathos and punches, tenderness and darkness, Tell me everything explores the mental health stress of today’s adolescents created by the ubiquity of technology and social media as they are always in search of their own identity, explore sexuality and experience relationships, drink, drugs and sex (as well as what to wear tonight). “

Tell me everything focuses on 16-year-old Jonny (Eden H Davies), who struggles to hide his undiagnosed depression and anxiety from loved ones and best friends Louis (Spike Fearn) and Neve (Lauryn Ajufo) after an unspeakable tragedy.

His life is turned upside down when he falls with new daughter Mei (Callina Liang) and is drawn into a troubling world with new friends Regan (Tessa Lucille) and Zia (Ackley Bridgeby Carla Woodcock).

Tell me everything Producers Robert Wulff-Cochrane and Camilla Campbell announced today: “We are absolutely delighted with this brilliant cast of rising stars – a group of young actors who show more talent and flair, seriousness and humor than we dared not wish it. “

Tell me everything is ITV2’s first new drama commission in 10 years. The teenage drama is set in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, which is Tell me everything the hometown of designer Mark O’Sullivan. It is also filmed there.

O’Sullivan’s previous credits include work on Morgana Robinson’s agency and Lee and Dean.
